Re: The Salacious Thread
It amuses me that I have had few salacious comments so far That aside...
It is a lot lighter than one would expect; as it is a LARP sword, it is made of safe materials. At the core is a solid carbon rod. Covering it up and forming the main body of the sword, is high-impact foam, which is in turn covered in colored latex. This, in turn, is covered by a special, flexible clearcoat. The handle is wrapped in leather, but I intend to make it a bit more special.

Miss Honeythorn, your makeup is lovely; I used to do mine like that but I fear I am too old to carry it off these days

An impressive way to make your impressive expressive eyes even more expressive, miss Honeythorn!
Re: The Salacious Thread
New jacket! I have a jacket that actually fits me--tiny in the body but with long arms. I've never had a jacket that actually fit me before! ^_^
Re: The Salacious Thread
It would seem that another advantage is that it actually hugs your figure more closely...

It does accentuate your willowy nature quite well!
Kirsty,
Nifty! It may just be the flash, but I'm not sure about that shirt. I am sure that you have an enchanting set of eyes and a stunning lower lip.

Re: The Salacious Thread
Katarina that's a very lovely jacket. I'm particularly digging those pockets. They look somewhat the pockets on cargo pants. And Kirsty, your entire outfit is wonderful, from the suspenders to the goggles (where did you get those?) to the garters. Also, your hair is absolutely gorgey-porgey, and it matches your nails. May I inquire as to the hair dye brand you used?

Re: The Salacious Thread
Kirsty, I can honestly say, miss, that the chest suspenders look good on you. They accent...you very well. Also, you donnot look twelve to me!

While I wait for that, I shall give you all the following. I do believe I have spoken of the sword I'm carrying about, here, but in case I haven't...It is a custom made LARP sword; a unique specimen and I have the only one.I have yet to test my theory, but I do believe it is 'genre neutral' enough that it will fit with any and all outfits.

Aha, hello. That's a familiar looking sword I must say, the real thing looks superb!

Nice Prince coat, Rod! Very nice indeed.
Welcome to a more cultured venue... I kind of like the effect of the high-tension wires behind you in the second shot, there.
How's the weather down under?
Chas.

Re: The Salacious Thread
Many thanks. Nice pick on the coat as well. It is in indeed a copy of Charlie Princes coat. I got it from Magnoli Clothiers.
The wonderful thing about Steampunk is I can have the high tension wires in the shot and it only makes it better
Weather is cold and miserable at the moment, great weather though for dressing up.
Umm, how did you know it was me?

Re: The Salacious Thread
Captain Elliot, well done!
I dearly love your hat. The jacket in the first two photos is quite striking as well. As for the third photo, that is a marvelous outfit, it gives you the look of a man not to be crossed.
