Resurrecting the Zombie Thread

Post  Captain Lyerly on Tue Feb 23, 2010 3:42 pm

I will copy this over when the engines light off again... I was in the process of posting when the balloon went up.

Did somebody mention vehicles?

The major obstacle to any projected plan is in the unforeseen problems. What problems are those? We don't know, that's why they are unforeseen.

What if the Zeds are migratory, and your secluded tract happens to be on one of their routes? Okay, that is a silly example, but one area or another may become untenable due to those pesky unforeseen problems. Now an apartment in a non-rural area is, indeed, far more likely to become untenable, of course, but even if you are living in paradise in Nebraska you might have a need to go to town, go pick up vaccines, go fetch relatives who were slow, or just do random patrols and raids.

Here is one example of an interesting approach to a solution...

Cheers!
