Many of we BG users, and I clearly count myslef among them, greatly appreciate your efforts in keeping this lifeboat afloat. While I admit this is my usually watering hole for information about the status of BG when I can't log in to it (like today, 12:30 PM on the USA east coast - still can't get in, it just times me out) I do pop in at other times to see what's afoot. markf

Post  Mrs. Sullivan Mon Dec 29, 2008 6:38 am

I'm just peeking in - I got a laptop for Xmas (finally- a computer that's mine, all mine!) and I'm transferring over my important bookmarks from the family desktop- and I have to have Spare Goggles, of course! I miss this little old place- maybe I'll just snuggle down in this big old comfy chair for a while with a cup of tea and an almond cookie before I resume my trek through the aetherweb. I love you

And every few days there is a new post... Smile The people that post here make it all worthwhile.

Well, I can't tell you of faraway lands but I am living in the Oregon Territory these days. The extreme snow of the last week has cleared away and navigation is once again possible.

Post  Rev. Redmond Farrier Sun Jan 04, 2009 7:33 am

This is a nice quiet place to visit. Each post can be read without being lost in the ocean of posts that show up each day on the main forums. Don't get me wrong, I prefer a very active forum and I love the BG forums, but sometimes it is nice to slow down and find a nice quiet place to join in a more low key conversation.

Hmmm, I think the cat was over there.... right where someone put that cake...

Oh well, perhaps if we stop using the arc welder on the neighbours we'll be able to hear where the cat is.

Its pretty much all gone- apparently the MMR jab doesn't completely prevent you getting mumps- its still available in a diminished form without all the additional extras...
Basicly I had to sit inside for a week for fear of infecting others, but not actualy being too ill at all (other than the puffy face) still it wasn't too bad I got to be pretty lazy!
