Now that I stop and look around, I'm getting a bit chilly." *wads up bits of torn wallpaper and last evac's newspapers, adds furniture parts from the detritus of the last donnybrook that occurred in the pub, puts an actual log on top and lights the paper goods at the bottom of the pile* "Well, that's better." *adjusts the flue and kicks leftover sweepings in under the grate*

"Smells a bit like the time Uncle Ignacius burnt down the Elks' clubhouse, but at least it's a warming fire."

*Sits down in the newly-dusted and deloused sofa and thumbs through a brand-new copy of the Times, soaking up the slowly-warming air in the home away from home*
