Any groups that meet in Norfolk?

Any groups that meet in Norfolk?
I am somewhat new to both Steampunk and Steampunk forums so please forgive me if this is not the correct place to pose such an interrogative but I am seeking face to face contact with Steampunk people in and around Norfolk. If anyone can enlighten my present state of ignorance or guide me gently in the right direction I would be most appreciative.

Hello! You may need to be alittle more specific...

Well I am located near Norwich so fairly central but I am happy to travel. I live out in the sticks and work in Burys St Edmunds so I am used to driving!

Ha,ha - just noticed you said 'Norfolk is where' rather than 'where in Norfolk'! I live in Norfolk in the U.K - it is in the East of England. I see that you hail from America, which isn't quite in my vicinity

Re: Any groups that meet in Norfolk?
Heh - the confusion in placenames is amusing at times. Norfolk is probably the most confusable; they are each locally recognizable, but would be unfamiliar (perhaps) on the opposite sides of the pond, though of reasonably equivalent importance to their respective nations.
Boston is one where the New World takes pre-eminence over the Old; Baltimore in Maryland is, I am afraid, far better known than the original in Ireland. But Birmingham would be recognized by each side as being their own - center of Alabama on the one side, suburb of Wolverhampton
on the other, so a differentiation must be made. London, on the other hand, with imitators in nearly every state and in most English-speaking countries (they speak English in Ontario, still, don't they?) is still unmistakable. Without modifiers, London is London.
Context can clear up most misunderstandings quickly, however. And unless you are making travel arrangements, there is very little actual harm to be done.
Cheers!
Chas.
