Likewise, ten of fourteen. Which means that with the first half of the quiz being a series of educated guesses, and being mostly sure of the second half... I managed to make an educated guess and got it right.

Dammit! I only got 8 out of a possible 14....

Huzzah! Although I have already visited CERN...

14 out of 14. Though two of them were lucky/educated guesses...

A call from CERN ? Pah. I'm BUILDING my own CERN. That will show them after they laughed at my theories. Oh, yes.

Not mad! They all said I was mad! But what to they know? Those Philistines at the Paracelsius Institute for Advanced Demagoguery would not know "MAD" if a madman bit one of them on the posterior!
I am privy to great secrets and magnificent discoveries and yet those who hold the purse strings for research grants are too foolish to understand my need of One Million Pounds, two shillings, thruppence to create an engine to see into the very building blocks of the universe!

I have the iron for the elecrto-magnets--Crimean War Surplus canon balls.
I have the wire--left overs from the transAtlantic cable.
I have located the perfect site: On the Swiss-French border. It is not ideal--no castles or ruined abbeys nearby for my lair. But if needs must! The villagers seem quiet enough--the Burgomeister says they have not had a pitchfork and torch mob for many years.

But I need that money! Someone is bound to snap up that village--Cern, it is called--soon and I must have that site!!
