I'm intriued by the concept of two-dimensional solitare... (Unless you mean the computer version, in which case, I have played solitare with physical cards once but got confused halfway through and gave up.)

The next poster has also found that computers have made once-normal tasks very difficult to perform off a computer, through lack of recent practice...

Yes. One that's blisteringly fast, costs almost nothing, and has enough memory, cache, and HD space to run even the most gargantuan games and graphics apps. Oh, and it has to be veneered in wood and brass, look like a locomotive boiler setup replete with the requisite gauges, levers, large-bore gatling guns, naval artillery, aerospace controls, and have a chrome hood ornament in a suitable risque' figurehead style. Just basic computing hardware...

sort of - when I was a young kid you could buy sweets (candy) that were like a lollypop with a stick, shaped like a whistle and worked when you blew (and usually covering objects around you with syrupy spit...). Laughing
