Like the UK thread, we are probably overdue in getting the BG thread for USA Ebay stuff up & running. Today's post -

This item looks like a great prop but is actually a legit antique. The Lamotte Chemical Products Co (sort of down the road from me, in Chestertown MD) started business in 1919 just after WWI and made chemical testing equipment, and they are still in business today. This is one of their old "Chemical Field Test" kits in a fitted wooden box. Looks 1920s-ish, and has a certain cool simplicity to it. markf
