Heard from proteus, looks like a hosting problem, as he can't even ssh into the site to do diagnostics/repairs. A trouble ticket has been opened with the hosting company..

Stay tuned, I'll update as I hear..

I was on earlier this morning (6am EST) and it was fine... Now I'm at work (7:30 EST) and it is down again? I get: "Table './proteus_wrdp1/smf_messages' is marked as crashed and last (automatic?) repair failed"

If I recall correctly, Proteus said that his script restarts the server and/or database each day at around 10:20am UK time. Maybe it's coincidence, but the server seems to have gone down around this time both yesterday and today.

Proteus also PMed me yesterday to say that he couldn't access the server to fix it from work. I expect he'll have the same problem today, so likely it won't be up til this evening.
