Ooooh, Battenburg!! Ta! Very Happy
I also have a lab project underway, I have just collected some seeds from the local flora - some odd looking large, tall plants. Strange thing is, I thought they were further away last time I was here, also there seemed to be a lot of dead animals near them. Guess they must be poisonous.

*looks over to plants in distance* Huh? I don't remember them being so close?!! *shrugs* Oh well, off to the lab!

And since today happens to be my birthday (no, really, it is!), I'll add a birthday cake to the snack table, and party hats for all. Laughing

Well, Happy Birthday, Lady P!

Pity it had to be on one of BG's 'down' days...

We'll just have to crack the champers here!

I too have difficulty sharing Batternburg.

Lady Penelope.
Allow me to contribute to your natal festivities by presenting you with these party squeakers, with a bit of luck we should be able to make ourselves heard in the next forum.. Smile

If the BG forum remains offline (knock-on-wood) by, say, Sunday, will we have a go at trying to cobble together the original mailing list?

Oh, and,

Happy Birthday, Ms. Penelope!!

Happy birthday Lady P. I realize having BG go down again is not a wonderful present, but as long as we remember how good Queen V would handle it I'm certain you and the 'collective we' will do just fine. markf

Sorry, a bit silly there. Beg pardon? No, that's just some... medicine I have to put into my Earl Grey. Keeps down the Bergamot Ergot, don't you know.

Well, time to go out to the lab, and... tinker. Steam launch project is ongoing.

Cheers!

Chas.

Er... is that some reference to "Make them walk the plank!" "But Cap'n, we don't have a plank." "Aghright then, what do we have?" "Er, we have a nice, comfy sofa". "Agghright then, tie them to the nice, comfy sofa!"

Most Happy Birthday to you Lady Penelope!

Mine was on Monday and though BG was operational I spent the day flying to North Carolina way too early in the morning and working until 11:00 PM. Such is life!

I don't feel 40...

Miss Mary, the Comfy Chair was from the Monty Python "Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!" sketch. One of the all-time greats.

Cheers!
