Steampunk Kilt and Gentleman Pockets.
Since I was encouraged to share my other Etsy items here... I think I will. Please let me know if this is not appropriate.
The collection was started with the Steampunk Kilt:
By techdragon at 2008-10-13
A custom made kilt featuring hand-painted 100% cotton base with antique brass rivets, gear and chain-link buttons and leather accents (including cutout shapes riveted/stitched on and a pleat return). This kilt had a rotary clasp right handed pocket and two smaller pockets on the left hand side. The apron cross-lock and leather strapping are adjustable and add a bit more flare to the function of the kilt.
And then expanded to also include my Spare Pockets - the newest variety being the Gentleman's Pockets (Holster style)

I love making custom orders and new exciting projects... it is only time that keeps me from making all the ideas in my head (and I am getting better at making time).
I have a lot of photos on my Flickr Site and my Etsy store
I hope you enjoy and also, please give me any feedback you have. I really appreciate it.

Please refrain from showing us that awesome kilt unless you brought enough for the whole class.

That kilt is seriously full of awesome. The holster is nice also, but that kilt.... *sigh*

Why would you mess with perfection?
"Gentlemen may prefer blonds, but, it takes a real man to handle a redhead!" - unknown
Re: Steampunk Kilt and Gentleman Pockets.
You've been making magnificent things, techdragon...
I adore those front closures on the kilt, what are they callled?
And so I might know for future reference, if a vegetarian were to comission you, would you have access to anything you can substitute for the leather (or consider using recycled, perhaps)?
It's mostly academic right now, but I'd certinly appreciate knowing.

The front closures.... I am not sure what they are called actually - they are "links".
But I am always more than willing to work within people's beliefs so a non-leather version would be doable I love working with new materials.
