I need gloves!

I need gloves!
I suffer a carksome condition known as Raynaud's Syndrome. It causes my fingers to be cold all the time. Whatever the temperature is, thats how cold my hands are. It makes it rather embarassing to shake hands, I apparently feel like a vampire. I've been dealing with this condition for most of my life, but I've only just thought 'Gee, I could be wearing gloves instead of being a masochistic lazy sod.'
Anyhow, in true steampunk fashion I've decided to turn my handicap into something fashionable and whatnot. It was a fairly easy decision to make, since gloves designed for RS sufferers are ugly and impossible to do anything in, whereas victorian gloves were actually intended to be used for such activities as sewing, and writing. And they're pretty.
The trouble is, all anyone seems to be selling is valuable (lace) antiques or shoddy (lace) reproductions. I want a quality reproduction, black, leather and prettyful. Not opera glove length though. I could deal with white leather if it could be cleaned easily. Any suggestions for sites, sellers, stores?

Re: I need gloves!
I wish I could remember the synonym for 'functional' that would help me search for gloves that you can wear and still do things like sew in...But even without it, here's what I've found.

Scroll down and there will be a link to several online glove suppliers. I recommend Alwyn's Gloves, for all they're expensive. As it says on the website, it's better to invest in one good quality pair of gloves than several cheaper ones.

Practical?
http://www.leatherglovesonline.com/pages2/wd3a-d302w.htm look the most practical, but they aren't very prettyful.

Re: I need gloves!
I think they're lovely. But these are nice:

Hmm...It shouldn't be this difficult to find gloves.

Re: I need gloves!
This site looks good. If they are intended for marching bands, they've can't be that movement impairing.
Re: I need gloves!
You can get leather rabbit fur lined ladies gloves. Not sure where though.
