Off tactile
For a while now I'm been mulling over the idea of an off topic tactile section; As well as my mad scientific creations and aged bottles I make alot of things that aren't steampunk and I'd love to show them to people, even get help with them, but I don't have anywhere to do that. So I was wondering if we could have an off topic tactile section? For all the things being made by steampunks which are not steampunk.
I've not been able to find an on line community as good and nice as this one either so I'd love it if my idea was implemented here, with the spare/brass goggles community!
I'm certain a few of the things I'm working on would interest people here or make you think "By jove! I can do that with this thing and improve that thing! Huzzah!"
What say you me hearties?

Re: Off tactile
Your wish is my command. An "Off Topic Tactile" forum has been created in the "Cabinet of Curiosities" section. Have at it!

Re: Off tactile
A good idea, it ties in well with the ideas and demonstrations that I saw today, well yesterday now (according to that damn time based time.
) Different hacks and mods with technologies that didn't specifically relate to steampunk and the such, part of the Wasteland II: Age of Iron con that I attended and am attending. (Just an extra note to say how awesome it is to find steampunks and such in the same city as you, espiecially when it's Perth, the most secluded city in the world... etc.)

Re: Off tactile
I think it's a good idea, but we'll see how it goes- if there's a fair amount of activity on it then all is most exelent! However if id doesn't realy take off I think we should just redefine the standard tactile board, or use "off topic"
Still I think I may start using it quite alot (if I can get my camera working)
