Re: Forum Colors
He got the paisley by googleing "paisley swatch" I think....
I tried to find a swatch that I could tile to make a decent background, but all that I found were cut so that they couldn't be repeated without a very obvious seam between pictures.
As for resizing; if anyone is able to feel very welcome to & me or the professor will alter the buttons accordingly- I would do it, but my computer is somewhat lacking in certain areas- ie: I can browse the internet, use skype a bit & openoffice, but not a great deal besides. Its odd I didn't realise how much I used drawing programs untill I didn't have them...
Anyways should anyone come across a paisly swatch that can be tiled seamlessly, or something along the lines of William Morris wallpaper that also may be seamlessly tiled please post it & it shall be most appreciated!

Re: Forum Colors
Hi, Phoebsky:
Here are some seamlessly repeating tiles, made using software called "Simple Filters" and based on various image sources, including some Wm. Morris wallpaper designs:

I like the one based on the acanthus leaves, on page 2.
Cheers, Hester

Re: Forum Colors
Oh, and here's a b&w repeating paisley tile:

I played around with the colour on it and created something that might be more in tune with our aesthetics:

Re: Forum Colors
Ok I've gone for the paisley repeat -Thank you Hester!
Still it's a bit anoying you can only see a bit of it around the edges of the forum- but I'm seeing if I can make the situation any better...

Re: Forum Colors
Glad it could be of use, Phoebsky. And although it's mostly just visible as a tiny edging around the sides of the board, you do get a nice flash of the whole background when the site first loads.
