Re: Steampunk Flag
With the scallopy edge it looks like a cruller. Maybe the flag of Tim Horton's?

I love Tim Hortons! I became addicted to Timmy's in the three weeks I spent in Canada. I want them in England! We have two, but they are miles away from me.
I also think it was von Brasswood who did the victoriana's revenge flag.

Re: Steampunk Flag
Personally, I find it insulting that it is automatically assumed we come from the Planet Earth! I mean, shouldn't we open our arms to all, regardless of Race, Religion or Planetary origin? ;-)

Those of us...well me at least...from Betelgeuse V, thank you for that.
Re: Steampunk Flag
You must have an extraordinary physiology to survive within a star itself! In fact, I would not proclaim the fact so loudly, there are mad scientists by the horde nearby who would jump at the opportunity to claim such a fascinating subject for vivisection.

Actually Betelgeuse is the red supergiant star.Shameri wrote:You must have an extraordinary physiology to survive within a star itself! Betelgeuse 5 is one of 2 inhabitable planets that orbit it.
Well...actually, ever since the Great Collapsing Hrung Disaster, that caused Betelgeuse 7 to collapse ... I guess Betelgeuse 5 is the only one capable of supporting life ... now.

Not a problem.Shameri wrote:Ah, forgive my ignorance, I have a tendency to filter out that which I do not understand
This is a common thing that I encounter when dealing with Earthlings.
I think it's caused by only having one head to think with, instead of two.
Like the old Earth saying..."Two heads are better then one."

CaptZaphod is making reference to Zaphod Beeblebrox from the Hitchers Guide to the Galaxy trilogy of books by Douglas Adams.
The character is from the planet Betelgeuse 5, has two heads, is friends with Ford Prefect and is the captain of the Heart of Gold starship.
This has little to no connection whatsoever with any sort of flag, steampunk or otherwise.
