An enquiry for Mrs. Clough.

Post  Dr Quack on Wed Oct 15, 2008 1:19 am

Dearest J,

How's your better half doing with the luminous dodad finder?

Of course, I use the term "better half" in its loosest and most provocative manner.

Still agog,

Dr. Q.

My dear Dr Q,

He is currently searching for a material that will allow him to create this in a manner with which he is pleased, and which the tools to hand can work with. Much experimenting is going on.

Yours cordially (but not with a cordial),
J.

I hope he's not trying to find Unobtanium, you can't get that anymore.

That could explain his problems!

Which, unless I've completely forgotten what he was originally going to do, I might have just had an idea about.

There has been a break through Smile

It will not be quite the same as originally envisioned, but it will be both glowy and brassy.

If it works, it will have turned out to be a lot more simpler than anticipated.

Don't expect any progress reports just yet though. Mr C has a rather bad flu-type thing which has knocked him flat out, and I'm trying to keep him away from sharp things in the rare moments he is awake.

J,

Glad to hear it's coming along.

All this fumbling about in the dark is having some most upsetting results.

I ended up back at my own house three times last week.

As for sharpe objects, you still manage a neatly turned out post, even if they are written in crayon.

Even more agog than usual,

Dr. Q.

p.s. I strongly recommend "Whiskey Macs" as a splendid curative.

In fact, you might consider letting Mr. C. have one as well.

One of the best sentences I've ever read. Brilliant, Herr Doktor.

Dr Q,

I was going to try the Whiskey Mac idea, but I couldn't decide which whisky to use, and by the time I did, I had none left.

The above has nothing to do withteh vile smell that is currently permeating the house, nor the slightly odd pink glow emanating from my beloved's labotary/study.

Next step, brass fittings.

Yours &c,
J.

Well, if you used up all the whiskey trying to decide which one is best for the making of whiskey macs, then I'm frankly not surprised that there's a pink glow everywhere.

Those elephants can be quite quite bright you know.

Agog squared, (technically refered to as agogleplex)

Ask them nicely and they may hold a parade.
