Piano and Table

Post  pennydreadful on Sat Oct 11, 2008 9:26 pm

** hmm pictures are not showing up**
Piano image

Piano we received for free in turn for removing it from a friends rental property. They thought it was a 1960's era from a number stamp on the back. It is actually a 1910 Smith & Barnes upright grand. Some horrible person covered it in white primer. I will be hand sanding that off all winter. The finish underneath looked great in the test spot we sanded.

Our 1970's era table we finally repaired and painted black & gold.

I have more pics of both on my blog

Nicely found, Penny!
And good luck with all that sanding. It is sure to turn out magnificent (though I must say it does look rather striking in white...that's likely irrelevant).
