Frock coats Empty Frock coats

Is there anywhere people could recommend to buy a gents Frock coat? I don't want to have to pay millions for it as I intend to modify it Very Happy
Also I'd like a waistcoat which isn't too lairy, as when I tried all my steampunk stuff on for the first time in ages it was all a bit too small, after spending a few months down the gym lol.
theres a few frock coats on ebay, will all frock coats have the right sort of look or are modern ones of a different style?
Many thanks
Paul

I'm having one custom made for me outta duck's cloth with a lining, on Etsy; for $40+shipping

It's due to ship on the 20th, and can post pics when available, if you want? PM me if interested.

Blimey, thats cheap! Surely that wouldn't even cover the costs of the materials! Pictures would be lovely

Actually duck cloth is quite cheap. Something like $7 a yard.
I've asked Laurie for pics, so that I can share.

I think it depends on the specific look your going for. The ones on ebay you mentioned look very much like wedding gear rather than Victorian era frock coats. They look like they don't close fully in the front.
