Look what i got for 3$

Post  ms_boo_dreadful on Sun Oct 05, 2008 2:12 pm

ok so me and the hubby are going on a trip this October a sort of second honeymoon (after the year we've had i think we deserve it) and we are going to Eureka Springs the 30th and the 31st. Smile but we had no luggage. none at all! so i picked this lovey up for three US dollars at a local thrift store check it out! it even has its key!

pretty nifty! the only thing wrong with it is it smells a bit musty. but a bit of lavender oil and some cedar chips and it will be all better!

Well done wish I could find one that cheap

Had a similar problem with a suitcase I have, Used a spare silica pack (the sort of thing that is meant to help keep the moisture down.

Oh, that's a beauty! I was looking for one similar, but settled for a leather Gladstone bag, via Ebay.

i was shocked as well to find it! amongst all the bags of 1970's godaweful orange and baby blues there was this lovely well kept leather bag. i was so happy!

JingleJoe, yes it does remind me of old thrift stores and such....but it also reminds me of moths... i own alot of velvet... not good!

hehe I shall keep my eyes open for another if you like Tanuki?
