Agreed, I only bought it along as my great aunt Tilly left me some, and modern marzipan is not something I can agree with.

Heathen

A man who has no love of Battenburg has no love of life

And must at least provide extra Pimms (or tea if driving/piloting their own airship)

I am no heathen! A dislike of marzipan is no crime. And they have now started selling Pimms No.3 in Asda! Winter is truly on it's way.

Pimms No 3, I'm highly envious, we can only get No 1 round here currently, although I have seen No 5 before now

Never seen No.5. Never tried No.3. It is rather prohibitively expensive, especially after the 15 something I spent on Pernod today.

Hum, 15 a bottle is cheaper than here in Aus...

Medieval marzipan is delicious, but I really can't stand bitter almonds or the biter almond essence is thrown around in marzipan nowadays (and in the cake part of battenburg as well).

I am happy to supply a case of Pimms (along with the Pernod, Tanquerray and Hendricks).

We've only No. One around here, but thankfully for eighteen dollars, rather than fifteen quid. I think I'll take the discount rather than the variety, although if there's any way I could have both....

I'm in luck, Pimms No 3 now available (9-98 in Tesco)

Bought some for "She Who Must Be Obeyed"

Creeping I know!

PS I'm not recomending this site but its the only other source of Pimms varieties that I've found
http://www.thedrinkshop.com/products/nlpdetail.php

or there is the good old Wikipaedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pimms

No no, the Pernod was 15 not the Pimms. The Pimms was 12.
