For a little lighter reading...

Post  Dax on Tue Sep 30, 2008 1:39 am

I've was going through my stacks and found an old Roger Zelazny book called A Night at the Lonesome October.

It involves all of our usual character preferences, a knife wielding protagonist named Jack, a night-walking count, a great detective, etc., in a power struggle as to whether to open the way for the elder gods to return. Highly recommended because:

a. Good plot.
b. Roger Zelazny
c. Illustrated by Gahan Wilson
d. Did I mention Roger Zelazny?

And yes, The Chronicles of Amber is required reading. Please obtain a copy of Nine Princes in Amber at the earliest opportunity. Laughing
