Excellent taste Ms X - your coat is not radically different from my 1890 replica Knights Templar long coat (made from a 1930s used light/medium weight overcoat). markf

Re: Okay, somebody had to do it...
Excellent taste Mr. Markf, although I'm reffering to your vehicle (I assume its yours).
A series 2 I assume.
(I have a slightly newer version in silver)
I tend to wear my "Drizabone" long riding coat in mine in order to keep dry, even though its the station-waggon varient as pictured behind your good self.
(A wonderful vehicle although waterproofing was not high on the designer's list - even when new they are fitted with drainage holes in the floor)

Mr Raethorne, your axes are rather attractive. Do you wave them about in your garden? I have a pair and periodically take them outside to practice my moves and exercise the old muscles, much to the disconcertation of the neighbours
Not in the garden, no, but the wild jungle that I call my back yard? The one that connects to a park full of children? Yes, I wave them around there quite often.
Also, when I got home after having purchased them, the first thing I did was hold them high and shout barbarically at my neighbors. And the random college kids that were walking by, who were rather impressed and intimidated by them. Glorious times....

Re: Okay, somebody had to do it...
The long coat is needed for the MG-TD, which essentially has no top but such coats are very warm indeed, as I suspect Ms X will find out soon as the season changes. I'm also steampunking the car a bit, so I need the big coat to keep warm this winter. markfThe Kernel wrote:Excellent taste Mr. Markf, although I'm reffering to your vehicle (I assume its yours). hardly steampunk, but shorter. inspired slightly from Alphonse Elric's hair (when he has it) and whatsisface... Harvey Dent's hair in the Dark Knight.

Perhaps more Tomb Raider crosed with Steampunk, just a couple of me in new top hat, chest suspendery things made by Kato and steampunk pockets that I bought on Etsy
Unfortunately I cut my head off in the second one but at least you can see the outfit! (apologies for all the modern entertainment devices in the background!)

Emmeline_X, I love the look of the formal top hat with the adventure gear suspender vest and spare pockets! Those spare pockets are genius.

Well I got those and a taller pair with black lace for around seventy-five dollars but I got an employee discount. They retail for around forty I think. They are very comfortable but I have manged to scuff them a bit but they polished right up.
