Many of we BG users, and I clearly count myslef among them, greatly appreciate your efforts in keeping this lifeboat afloat. While I admit this is my usually watering hole for information about the status of BG when I can't log in to it (like today, 12:30 PM on the USA east coast - still can't get in, it just times me out) I do pop in at other times to see what's afoot. markf

I'm just peeking in - I got a laptop for Xmas (finally- a computer that's mine, all mine!) and I'm transferring over my important bookmarks from the family desktop- and I have to have Spare Goggles, of course! I miss this little old place- maybe I'll just snuggle down in this big old comfy chair for a while with a cup of tea and an almond cookie before I resume my trek through the aetherweb.
luv,

And every few days there is a new post...
The people that post here make it all worthwhile.
Well, I can't tell you of faraway lands but I am living in the Oregon Territory these days. The extreme snow of the last week has cleared away and navigation is once again possible.

Re: A thread to show that there is still a pulse of life in the forum....
This is a nice quiet place to visit. Each post can be read without being lost in the ocean of posts that show up each day on the main forums. Don't get me wrong, I prefer a very active forum and I love the BG forums, but sometimes it is nice to slow down and find a nice quiet place to join in a more low key conversation.

Hello....
Damn everyone's out again, hall leave the Madeira cake and Sherry by the door for those who want it...
Back to laying carpet, one of the side effects of which is to make your fingertips sore.
