Hmmm, I think the cat was over there.... right where someone put that cake...
Oh well, perhaps if we stop using the arc welder on the neighbours we'll be able to hear where the cat is.

Well in spirit if not physicality -my face has swolen up horribly and I am consigned to bed- but at least it has let me spend the best part of a day on BG (and SG)

Its pretty much all gone- apparently the MMR jab doesn't completely prevent you getting mumps- its still available in a diminished form without all the additional extras...
Basicly I had to sit inside for a week for fear of infecting others, but not actualy being too ill at all (other than the puffy face) still it wasn't too bad I got to be pretty lazy!

Oh, how i wish SG was back to its active state! I miss SG. I am on BG daily, but no longer see the same familiar faces. There are a lot of new people taking over, have been on the BG forum all of two weeks and know everything there is to know about the forum and Steampunk in general. <sigh> Oh well, I shall continue to lurk...
regards,
Mrs.S.

It's interesting how community sizes can go critical like that.
I wonder if there's any way to change the structure of our online interactions such thatwedon't lose the sense of familiarity with those around us that you're missing, Mrs. Sullivan.
