Network Timeout-Server is taking too long to respond. June 17, UK Time
Been getting that for about an hour, now.
Anybody else experiencing technical difficulties?

Indeed. Perhaps not quite an hour, but it has been over 1/2 hour since I e'ed Harold about it (no response so far).

Re: Once more, with feeling....
I would hope that Harold, being a sensible fellow, and mindful of his responsibilities to his employer, is at present in the embrace of Morpheus. Where I would be too if Beloved's cat had not chosen to use my head as a trampoline when sleep beckoned me. In any case, I am much too excited to sleep right now:
- my acrylic samples arrived today, and
- I think I may be close to a new vein of musical research

Re: Once more, with feeling....
Alright, here's my suggestion: we, as the ingenious buggers we are, devise microscopically small engines, powered remotely by a miniaturized Tesla ray, which contain within them also Lilliputian Babbage machines. These invisibly small machines shall then be able to do amazing feats, such as healing a man's tissues from within his own bloodstream, and building mighty works from their base components. We shall market and sell these wondrous creations, and use the profit from said venture to purchase a great number of backups-upon-backups, and pay an army of Ęther Engineers to guard it with their very lives 'round the clock. Then, this inconvenience shall never again occur.
Also, in my plan, everybody gets a pony.

Re: Once more, with feeling....
I thought it was just Etisalat playing around at first (even google gets consistent 'net work errors on this ISP) but no.
Hmmm, how long is is this likely to last ?

Until the Machine Uprising has been put down, I'm afraid. Gird yourselves, fellows! Do not fire till you see the lights in their eyes!

Re: Once more, with feeling....
I knew I could smell gas yesterday. First that dreadful business with the air kraken (well, at least the Princess Seraphina Tea Room got redecorated) and now this! If the gracious Lord had meant us to have secret passages he would have made us non-Newtonian to start with.
